Privacy

Everything in this directory was submitted by the person it describes, and anyone listed can have their entry removed by asking. Questions: compchemurg@gmail.com.

Who runs it. The CompChemURG maintainers, as a volunteer project. Nothing here is commercial.

What's published. Whatever you chose to give us: name, affiliation, links, research areas, and optionally location, bio, photo, and group(s) you self-identify with. All of it is public, on this site and in the repository.

Consent. We publish your entry because you asked us to, and you can change your mind at any time. Entries are added either by the person themselves or by a maintainer transcribing what that person sent us — never on someone else's say-so. If you find an entry about you that you didn't ask for, tell us and it goes immediately. The self-identification field can reveal sensitive information such as ethnicity or sexual orientation, so it is optional, never inferred, and empty unless you fill it in yourself.

Email. If you email us we keep it, both to reply and as the record of your consent. We don't publish it or use it for anything else.

Removal. Ask by removal request or email. Anyone can ask, not only the person listed. What that reaches:

We act on removal requests from the person listed. We don't take entries down because someone else disputes whether that person belongs in the directory — that isn't ours to rule on. The exception is clear harm, such as impersonation or abuse, which we'll always act on.

Your rights. If you want to see, correct, or delete what we hold, or withdraw consent at any time (which takes your entry down) then please email us.
